Our Foxtel System has 1,000 movies, including new releases, and 4,000+ TV episodes OnDemand. Casting from your personal device is also available.
Fresh Linens Supplied
Fresh linens including sheets, towels and pool towels are provided for your stay. Our Guest linens & towels are professionally laundered after each stay.

Each Pavilion has a fully equipped kitchenette with a ceramic cooktop, microwave oven, full-size fridge, electric frypan, juicer, toaster and dishwasher.
Log Fires (seasonal)
Our log fires are stacked and ready for use from early May until the October long weekend. These times may vary depending on the weather.
Nespresso and Twinings
All Pavilions have a Nespresso Creatista automatic coffee machine with a supply of capsules. A selection of Twinings teas are also provided.

Privacy is paramount. Our Pavilions are spaced apart for seclusion, with screened pools/decks and no passing traffic, you can hear yourself think!

Can't wait to go back! My wife and I stayed here after our wedding for two nights, was the most perfect way to relax and unwind after a hectic few months leading up to our big day. We stayed in Wind Spirit lodge, was a bit too cold to use the pool - but I had to jump in anyway. Perfect layout and nothing was an issue. We cooked up a gourmet breaky and also ordered a bbq pack (which lasted two nights - excellent value). Perfectly located a few minutes drive from Wollombi - we cannot wait to go back. The setting is fantastic if you want to really get away from it all with little/ no mobile reception and a drive up a steep unsealed dirt track to reach the property. We loved the welcoming music and scented oil burning on arrival, the huge spa bath overlooking the deck and one of the most comfortable beds that we've ever slept in. If we had to come up with one criticism, it would be the sofa not being the most comfortable for lounging around, reading papers/ watching movies. But that's a very minor criticism. My partner and I booked the earth song pavilion for 3 nights (14/2-17/2), as soon as we drove up the private road and arrived at the gate we knew it would be a peaceful weekend. After we walked in to reception and met Alan he helped us carry our bags to the pavilion and gave us a rundown on the kitchen, spa and DVD player. The pavilion was awesome well laid out, clean and you couldn't fault a thing. The view from the balcony and spa was amazing especially one morning when we noticed the fog over the mountains. - Never wanted to leave!!!! My girlfriend and I went away to celebrate her coming home from the UK. Very hard to describe just how amazing wild edge really is! You drive up the private road into the most beautiful spot in the hunter valley by far. On arrival Andrew welcomed us and we were very pleased to upgraded to the Earth Song pavilion, Andrew helped us with our luggage and showed us around the stunning pavilion. We had booked Pavilion 1, Whispering Forest, when checking in Alan,the owner advised that we had been upgraded to Pavilion 2, Natures Mist which had a private pool. The weather was really hot, average 36 degrees each day so the pool made a big difference. The rooms are well presented with a king size bed, all the mod cons and fully self contained with a big deck overlooking the valley. - Great Getaway and Relaxation and Unwind Absolutely wonderful place to stay - we stayed in Earth Song and it was lovely looking out over the valley to see the sunrise and mist over the mountains. The view is stunning. The accommodation is excellent and we could not ask for more. It was wonderful having a pool to swim in and look out over the valley - a day bed is a wonderful addition to lap up the sun and warmth. We are well pleased with what paid and happy with the quality and quantity of food in the hampers that we received. All the food was very delicious. Service was excellent - our hostess was available to assist when we needed more items. The only noise around was the natural wild life - a very quite and tranquil place to relax and rejuvenate. The room was very clean and they also supplied a beach towel for swimming - which was a plus. We hope to go back next year for another holiday and try out one of the other pavilions. Getting there was easy and the road not sealed but perfect for our 4WD. Also liked the welcome we received both from the hostess and through their Foxtel channel which had a lovely welcome and enjoy our stay. Our hostess was there to welcome us as parked. All the fittings and linen and kitchen appliances are top notch and the breakfast provisions were yummy. I agree with another reviewer on tripadvisor who said make sure you take all your provisions because once you are up there you won't want to leave the place until you have to. - Wild Edge Retreat is such beautiful accommodation, we could not of asked for more and the views were just spectacular from sunrise to sunset. We stayed in Natures Mist and it was gorgeous, having the spa bath looking down in to the valley was just gorgeous and very secluded. The pavilion had everything you would need including very generous breakfast provisions and even Easter egg treats. Alan and Andrew were very helpful and accommodating. We diffinatly would love to return to Wild Edge Retreat and we would recommend it to all our friends. - A perfect getaway! My husband and I celebrated his birthday and NYE 2011/12 at Wild Edge Retreat, staying in the Wind Spirit Pavilion. The Retreat is private and secluded, and surrounded by beautiful bushland. The views of the valleys and mountains are spectacular. The grounds of the Retreat are beautiful maintained, and the buggy ride to the Pavilion was a treat. The Pavilion itself was spacious, beautifully appointed and the ultimate in luxury accommodation. With our own private pool, king size day bed, two-person hydrotherapy spa, fully equiped kitchen, foxtel and surround sound, deck lounges and bbq (just to name a few) there was no reason for us to leave the Pavilion during our three night stay! Upon entering the pavilion, we were warmly welcomed to the prearranged candles which spread throughout the entire clean, romantic and warmly designed pavilion. - When luxury meets love ! I surprised my friend for his birthday with a 2-day stay in the Whispering Forest Pavilion. What a treat it was !! The drive up to the property offers expansive views of the area. We were lucky to drive just before sundown and enjoyed a very pleasant sunset on our way up. Birdsong and frog croaks abound! Lazing on the day bed and swimming in our private infinity edge pool with magnificent, expansive valley views in front of us was extraordinary. Our room was beautifully appointed with a full kitchen and a spa bath with windows that fold back to let you take in the 180 degree view. Heaven. - Absolutely amazing I booked the Wild Edge Retreat for two nights for my boyfriends surprise birthday weekend away. I thought the photos looked fantastic, but once we got there the photos don't do it justice. The place is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, and Alan and Andrew's attention to detail and personal service was just out of this world! We had the seafood platter ordered for two on the Friday night, and as soon as we arrived the place had tealight candles lit and the table set up for dinner. When we checked out on the Sunday they had been baking delicious coconut cookies all morning and gave us a little bag to take home with us. Wild Edge retreat is in Wollombi. After driving for approx 2 kms on unsealed road we made it. Wild Edge retreat is a hidden gem where you feel relaxed as soon as you arrive. With only 4 private villas it is perfect for a couples getaway. Make sure you pack some food as you will not want to leave. We bought an esky with us with all the makings of a cheese platter and it was the perfect setting to sit on the deck and watch the sun set while sipping on wine and having a cheese platter. Breakfast was included and we cooked this is the fully equiped kitchen! Andrew was the perfect host so helpful. On the Saturday night we went to the hunter for dinner and on return my husband has organised candles, roses and champagne. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen!!! It is tucked away just past Wollombi if coming from Sydney. We were warmly greeted on arrival and driven to our accommodation by golf cart, we stayed in Wind Spirit. We were immediately excited by the setup, in particular a large bed in an open plan room, the spa bath with large fully opening windows, opening out on to your private balcony, and the private infinity pool and day bed. The kitchen was well stocked along with delicious breakfast supplies. Weather wise, were treated to drizzle, warm sunny weather, and a storm rolling in over the hills during our stay. We met the local wombat and went for a short walk around the complex. But mostly we relaxed! And it was so easy to do so. The lack of phone reception is a blessing, and the wifi was very reliable for when we really needed to connect to the real world again. - Magnificent We arrived just before 8pm, we walked along the boardwalk it was beautiful with different coloured lights in the wood work. Alan meet us at reception & drove us down to our villa, walking into the villa was breathtaking, candles lit, soft music & a beautiful smell wafting throughout the room. - Beyond expectations We stayed in the Wind Spirit pavilion for our 10th wedding anniversary. We have stayed in some nice places before however this was by far the best. We were welcomed and shown to our pavilion and everything was explained to us. Breakfast provisions are provided and the sausages were awesome!!! The New Zealand stone bathroom was amazing, the hydrotherapy spa with bifold windows was pure luxury, and the infinity pool with king size daybed was heaven. My husband was stoked with the Bose system....I was more excited about the rain shower. We felt very welcome and nothing was a problem. Both Alan and Andrew were fantastic hosts who obviously take pride in their job and retreat. The surrounds are immaculate and everything is so well maintained. And boy, did Wild Edge Retreat deliver just what we were after! We were greeted by Emma with a smile and such enthusiasm that we immediately felt welcome. Upon arrival at the pavilion, peaceful music was playing with lit candles to make us even more at home. The Wind Spirit pavilion offered breathtaking views of the eucalyptus forest into the distance with the most romantic sunsets. We had every meal outdoors due to the ambience. From the moment we arrived it was magical!
The pavilion, Nature's Mist, was warm with the fire already started and candles lit was truly beautiful. We ran out of kindling and found more (after a day out) appear at the the door (yipee!) on the second night. Emma & Mick were wonderful hosts, but most important left Guests alone.
