Our Foxtel System has 1,000 movies, including new releases, and 4,000+ TV episodes OnDemand. Casting from your personal device is also available.
Fresh Linens Supplied
Fresh linens including sheets, towels and pool towels are provided for your stay. Our Guest linens & towels are professionally laundered after each stay.

Each Pavilion has a fully equipped kitchenette with a ceramic cooktop, microwave oven, full-size fridge, electric frypan, juicer, toaster and dishwasher.
Log Fires (seasonal)
Our log fires are stacked and ready for use from early May until the October long weekend. These times may vary depending on the weather.
Nespresso and Twinings
All Pavilions have a Nespresso Creatista automatic coffee machine with a supply of capsules. A selection of Twinings teas are also provided.

Privacy is paramount. Our Pavilions are spaced apart for seclusion, with screened pools/decks and no passing traffic, you can hear yourself think!

Each of our Pavilions has their own private Plunge Pool. Complete with deck screens, so no swimming costume required! Perfect for a skinny dip!

Absolutely amazing I booked the Wild Edge Retreat for two nights for my boyfriends surprise birthday weekend away. I thought the photos looked fantastic, but once we got there the photos don't do it justice. The place is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, and Alan and Andrew's attention to detail and personal service was just out of this world! We had the seafood platter ordered for two on the Friday night, and as soon as we arrived the place had tealight candles lit and the table set up for dinner. When we checked out on the Sunday they had been baking delicious coconut cookies all morning and gave us a little bag to take home with us. The cottage has almost everything you need for a great getaway only thing you need to bring is some food. When we first visited I read the website and didn’t really understand what was included so we did bring things that were already there like oil, coffee and bug spray. I communicated with them several times prior and nothing was too much trouble for them to make the weekend perfect . We ordered the BBQ Platter which included meats & chicken skewers which were very tender and salads of the freshest quality and there was enough for both a dinner and lunch the following day. Breakfast provisions were provided and again ample and of the highest quality. They even supplied a beautiful local sparkling wine in celebration of my husband's 50th. - Impeccable luxury! The most romantic weekend away my husband and I have ever had! The hosts were so welcoming and friendly! The attention to detail in our wind spirit pavilion was phenomenal! We arrived to out candle lit pavilion, we soft music and the most amazing view! The bed was super comfy and it has a lounge area that overlooks the stunning view. A lovely kitchen too. The deck outside has lounge beds and a barbecue and the most amazing infinity edge pool. Not to mention the king size day bed oh my god! The first night we had the romance package so we went out to the local pub for an he and when we returned it's was ahhhhmazing! So many candles oh goodness it was beautiful. Rose petals on the bed! Soft music and we had arranged the seafood package for dinner, it was Devine all set up beautifully! The following morning we had the breakfast provided. all the breakfast goodies we cooked were supplied and it was yum. That day we lazed around by the pool and for lunch had the ploughman's package. Lovely local cheeses cold meats and breads and salads yum. Then for dinner yes more food we had the BBQ package so it included meats salads breads etc the meat was soooo tender it was amazing. Following morning we still had enough supplies for breakfast. - Top class tranquility My wife and I spent a very relaxing few days at Wild Edge over Christmas. Beautiful rural location, amazing views, awesome pavilion with high-end finish, and excellent service. The free breakfast provisions consisted of high quality local produce - really delicious. Guests have access (no charge) to a 180+ film DVD library in reception which is great if you like watching movies. The free wifi was good too. The only thing to watch out for is that mobile phone reception is poor at Wild Edge (Telstra was ok; no signal for Vodafone) although pavilions have a landline phone. - Outstanding Couples Retreat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Short, sharp and shiny..... One of the best places we have ever stayed..... The rooms are amazing with a great attention to detail in every aspect..... The Earth Song room had amazing views and offered everything we could have wanted for a quiet weekend away... Alan was a great host and very pleasant in every dealing we had with him. The only downside about the whole trip was my poor little sportscar got hammered heading up and down the dirt road trek leading to the retreat. Its mentioned as a dirt road but its more of a 4WD track... Not made for a sportscar with low profile tyres as the 30 minute trip back to the town ended up with a tyre blow out due to the dirt road condistions now costing me another $600 and a long wait on the side of the road while i learnt how to replace a tyre again 🙁 ... of course not their fault.... The view is stunning. The accommodation is excellent and we could not ask for more. It was wonderful having a pool to swim in and look out over the valley - a day bed is a wonderful addition to lap up the sun and warmth. We are well pleased with what paid and happy with the quality and quantity of food in the hampers that we received. All the food was very delicious. Service was excellent - our hostess was available to assist when we needed more items. The only noise around was the natural wild life - a very quite and tranquil place to relax and rejuvenate. The room was very clean and they also supplied a beach towel for swimming - which was a plus. We hope to go back next year for another holiday and try out one of the other pavilions. Getting there was easy and the road not sealed but perfect for our 4WD. Also liked the welcome we received both from the hostess and through their Foxtel channel which had a lovely welcome and enjoy our stay. Our hostess was there to welcome us as parked. Candle-lit welcome was beautiful (after being met in a lower carpark for luggage transfer), in the architect-designed villa (nooks and diagonals- not a square room!). This is probably the most impeccably appointed accommodation we have ever stayed in. The decor is beautiful and it's spotlessly clean, not even a trace of past careless guests which is often seen in most luxury accommodation. The hosts have thought of every detail you will require for a self contained, romantic & secluded mini break. We had an indoor spa that had bifolds on to the deck, which would be fabulous in winter too with the wood fire, but since we had lovely hot weather we made the most of the heated plunge pool and amazing balinese style day bed. Breakfast provisions are supplied like eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes to cook yourselves as well as cereals, bread & yoghurt etc. The hosts respect your privacy and only attend to you if you request them to. The mobile signal is patchy so they provide free wifi and there is a landline for calls. The bed & pillows were comfortable and beach towels provided. As the road leading up to Wild Edge retreat is a fairly narrow dirt road. Recommend bringing what you need for your stay as we didn’t leave until our check out and so glad we did 🙂 Tip: once you check out, takes about 10-15mins - visit wollombi village for a coffee/bevy or Devonshire tea at Myrtle & Stone, local jam (from Gailles stall set up) or visit artwork gallery (run by volunteer staff). Accommodation - Everything was perfect! Outdoor - big balcony with 2 day lounges, little gas Weber Q, king size cabana with infinity pool - all we needed for a relaxing stay ! Indoors - oozes charm and modern decor at same time, comfy king bed, pillows (menu even available, if required), spa bath and shower pressure great, fluffy towels, Foxtel channels, fireplace (perfect for winter) and open plan room - spotless and cleaner than a 5 star hotel. As soon as we arrived, all breakfast supplies, sooo plentiful and fresh produce - loved it and better than a brekky buffet lol - everything you need, latest kitchen high-end appliances for coffee, fresh OJ and cooking. - Just beautiful in every way I took my husband here for a couple of nights to celebrate his 40th birthday. We stayed in the Wind Spirit pavilion and it was just perfect. I want to find something unique to write about the place as ordinary words don't seem to do it justice. The scenery is just astounding and the pavilion is pure luxury. We would have happily stayed there for the entire weekend - and yet there was the whole Hunter Valley to explore. If you are undecided, don't be. - Magnificent We arrived just before 8pm, we walked along the boardwalk it was beautiful with different coloured lights in the wood work. Alan meet us at reception & drove us down to our villa, walking into the villa was breathtaking, candles lit, soft music & a beautiful smell wafting throughout the room. If you come expecting a typical style coastal resort, you will be disappointed. This is a private and secluded slice of heaven set in the Australian bush with all the amenities of a resort. Loved the privacy, swimming pool and time together in a wonderful place.
