Fresh linens including sheets, towels and pool towels are provided for your stay. Our Guest linens & towels are professionally laundered after each stay.

Each Pavilion has a fully equipped kitchenette with a ceramic cooktop, microwave oven, full-size fridge, electric frypan, juicer, toaster and dishwasher.
Log Fires (seasonal)
Our log fires are stacked and ready for use from early May until the October long weekend. These times may vary depending on the weather.
Nespresso and Twinings
All Pavilions have a Nespresso Creatista automatic coffee machine with a supply of capsules. A selection of Twinings teas are also provided.

Privacy is paramount. Our Pavilions are spaced apart for seclusion, with screened pools/decks and no passing traffic, you can hear yourself think!

I had mentioned this place a few times and bless my hubby, he actually remembered. After 3 years of no holiday, we were definitely due for a little break. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. I am bad with names so do apologize, the daughters father peter(?), was very nice to us (daughter and son in law (owners) were on holdidays and mother and father were house sitting). After having our luggage and ourselves taken to the pavillion in a buggy which was pretty cool. We were greeted by sandy (again sorry if name is wrong) who was so lovely and friendly. Sandy showed us how it all works and left us to relax. The views were gorgeous. We loved it. We actually saw a lyar bird which we thought was pretty amazing as we had never seen one in the wild before. The pavillion was very clean. I could not fault it. The pool was refreshing and the day bed is such a nice spot to relax after a dip. The sunlounges were comfortable. We liked the rustic look of the outdoor tables and chairs and seats were comfy, wide enough. We loved the coffee machine, so much we will be buying one. We did use the big coffee mugs and realised we should have used the little ones. Was not a bother for them at all to bring us more milk though. They also bought us more bacon, and dvds. The bath inside is very big and accomodating for a larger person which is nice. We had 2 baths in our 3 nights stay. We loved it. We loved the shower it had great pressure. Plenty of provisions like a variety of jams, fresh oranges for making juice ( there is a juicer), juice in the fridge, milk, variety of teas and coffee, breakfast provisions. Very well packed. We grumbled (not to them just to each other)a little over having no bbq (realised through reviews though after we got home that they can not for the fire safety, so felt bad for grumbling ) but we found it fine cooking in what is provided. We enjoyed our $180 bottle of veuve cliquot rosè very nice drink. The only thing (after finding out why they cant have a bbq) we thought would be nice is natural australian toiletries, some sensational ones out there. Some have bush scents as well. We have had aussie made natural products in a couple of motels we have stayed in. Molton brown was nice but i dont think it compliments where you are, the aussie bush. Its a small trivial thing and definitely will not stop us from going back. We loved it and recommend to anyone that can afford or want somewhere luxurious peaceful and welcoming to stay. I messaged asking lots of questions once I booked & mentioned we were staying for our wedding anniversary. We spent two nights for our wedding anniversary. Spacious, immaculately clean and tastefully decorated with nice touches of attention to detail. Enormous deck. Even the drive up to the lodge adds to the enjoyment as you wind up the unsealed road to the top, making it feel even more remote, yet you are just a few minutes drive to everything you need in the cute town of Wollombi. If you drive from Sydney, taking the exit at Peats Ridge is a joy to drive, though lovely winding roads and beautiful countryside. - BEAUTIFUL RETREAT AND STAFF This place is absolutely incredible. The moment we arrived Mick and Emma were super welcoming and efficient. We loved the welcoming music and scented oil burning on arrival, the huge spa bath overlooking the deck and one of the most comfortable beds that we've ever slept in. If we had to come up with one criticism, it would be the sofa not being the most comfortable for lounging around, reading papers/ watching movies. But that's a very minor criticism. - STOP - If you are here then you have found THE ONE Romantic, secluded up market retreat. We stayed in the Natures Mist pavilion complete with private plunge pool and views to die for. Here you are afforded complete privacy for time with your special partner. The hosts are wonderful but keep a discreet distance. The accommodation is exactly as described on website. Having travelled extensively, staying in 5 star hotels, I can honestly say, nothing compares to here. It’s the other side of the world for us in more ways than one and we will certainly be enduring the 24 hour plus journey to return. - Most amazing Paradise stay From the minute we arrived we felt welcomed! We just spent 3 nights in the Natures Pavilion and one word ... WOW! The pavilion was very spacious, very clean, and had all the necessities you could require and more! We didn't have to leave the Pavilion at all. Cooking facilities were great, bed very comfy, comfy lounge, Foxtel, and of course the private pool! Amazing! I only have good things to say about this place. The warm greeting, the cleanliness and presentation of the pavilion and the wonderful view from the balcony all add up to a great stay. Everything is thought of here. The breakfast provisions were excellent and we had packed food for lunches and dinners and prepared quite a few great meals and found that everything we needed for cooking was provided in the kitchen. I loved relaxing in the spa with the windows open and candles lit and the pool was warm, but not too hot- great way to spend a couple of warm afternoons floating around in privacy (especially because I am very pregnant!). We stayed in ‘Nature’s Mist’ on this occasion and have previously stayed in the other pool villa. Both are lovely, and had everything we needed for a great long weekend. - Exactly the Break We Needed Stayed in the Wind Spirit villa at Wild Edge Retreat for my girlfriend’s 30th, and it was exceptional from start to finish. Emma greeted us on arrival and was genuinely helpful throughout our stay. She surprised us with a complimentary birthday cake, which was a great touch. The villa is even better than the photos. The pool is completely private and has an unreal outlook, the bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, and the spa overlooking the mountains is something you could sit in for hours. - A weekend to remember We have just stayed in Nature's Mist for our Anniversary. It was everything we had hoped for and took full advantage of the peace, tranquility and magic view over the Wollombi valley below. As we have visited and stayed in the Wollombi area a few times before, we wanted to just chill out and make the most of the surroundings. We bought enough with us to be self sufficient for the weekend without a need to travel back down the hill. It was having our own private pool which attracted us to Wild Edge this time as we had been in the area in March previously and know how hot it can be. The joy to wake up on both mornings to the song of the bell birds and mist in the valley below made it very memorable. This along with the other abundant bird life welcoming the day was beautiful. I just wish I had remembered my Bird book (maybe something that can be added to each pavilion) Andrew and Alan must be commended for the passion they have for their retreat and the presentation of our pavilion. The place was immaculate and had everything we needed. We took a quiet stroll around the grounds to find out which of the pavilions had the best perspective for the different times of year as we would like to go back in the colder months to make the most of the fire place. After discussing with Alan, he pointed us to Earths Song which sits higher and has a north west aspect so would be drenched in winter sun.. You also have the option to purchase gourmet platters when booking your stay but we brought our own food and cooked it on the bbq.We were welcomed warmly and assisted by Emma, one of the owners with our bags on her golf cart which was extremely convenient! She is such a lovely lady and was very helpful.We stayed at our very own private pavilion ‘Wind Spirit’ where we spent most of our time outside on the deck, unwinding and relaxing in complete serenity.We also met the local Goanna named Go Go and a few beautiful birds visited us by the pool to cool down.The kitchen was equipped with everything! The fridge had our halal breakfast provision as requested, some water, juice, milk, butter and condiments. We brought some of our own water bottles and soft drinks to keep us going as well which was very ideal. - Beyond expectations We stayed in the Wind Spirit pavilion for our 10th wedding anniversary. We have stayed in some nice places before however this was by far the best. We were welcomed and shown to our pavilion and everything was explained to us. Breakfast provisions are provided and the sausages were awesome!!! The New Zealand stone bathroom was amazing, the hydrotherapy spa with bifold windows was pure luxury, and the infinity pool with king size daybed was heaven. My husband was stoked with the Bose system....I was more excited about the rain shower. We felt very welcome and nothing was a problem. Both Alan and Andrew were fantastic hosts who obviously take pride in their job and retreat. The surrounds are immaculate and everything is so well maintained. We ordered the Love bites and Ploughmans lunch platters which were very generous serves and included local produce. Such a majestical adventure up into the mountains of Wollombi, once we arrived we were privately chaffered to our pavilion...Earth Song. We found ourselves sitting in the spa looking out to the amazing views whilst we sipped on a local champagne delivered by Emma herself! Our Pavilion was immaculate, modern, cozy, serene and with breathtaking views. There was nothing to fault, it's more beautiful than the photos. Everything was well thought of and the hosts know how to give it that extra special touch. We can't wait to return.

A great holiday!!
We were blown away by the quality of every little thing. From the tea selection, to all the utensils and products in the kitchen. The cutting knives were sharp! That never happens in rented accommodation. The bathroom fit-out is spectacular. Every was amazing and clearly thoughtfully considered.
