Fresh linens including sheets, towels and pool towels are provided for your stay. Our Guest linens & towels are professionally laundered after each stay.

Each Pavilion has a fully equipped kitchenette with a ceramic cooktop, microwave oven, full-size fridge, electric frypan, juicer, toaster and dishwasher.
Log Fires (seasonal)
Our log fires are stacked and ready for use from early May until the October long weekend. These times may vary depending on the weather.
Nespresso and Twinings
All Pavilions have a Nespresso Creatista automatic coffee machine with a supply of capsules. A selection of Twinings teas are also provided.

Privacy is paramount. Our Pavilions are spaced apart for seclusion, with screened pools/decks and no passing traffic, you can hear yourself think!

Each of our Pavilions has their own private Plunge Pool. Complete with deck screens, so no swimming costume required! Perfect for a skinny dip!

For our first weekend away without the kids in many many years, we couldn't have experienced a more pleasant and relaxing place to unwind. The stress started to disappear after arriving at the gate and being met by our amazing host Emma, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. After being escorted to our pavilion, we were greeted with the most beautiful room with tealight candles, soft music and a Valentine's Day chocolate gift. After we unpacked, we discovered the kitchen full of generous breakfast supplies, various fruits, yoghurts, a variety of teas, a coffee machine, fresh local oranges and and electric juicer. The weekend was spent ralxing on the deck, swimming in the pool and soaking in the spa, all in complete privacy. This place is amazing and we would highly recommend this to anyone who might be looking for a relaxing escape in a beautiful property and total privacy. Thanks again Emma and Mick. My husband and I went here for a weekend getaway for our wedding anniversary and we weren't disappointed.We felt welcome from the time we entered the gates to the time we left. Emma our host was awesome, meeting us at our car with a golf cart to transport our luggage, and was only a phone call away if we needed anything or extra supplies.The breakfast supplies were amazing with a huge selection to choose from including cereals, yoghurt, fruit, bread, eggs, bacon, mushrooms, and fresh tomatoes plus a big selection of tea and coffees.Our log fire was lit, our cabin warm and tealight candles lit throughout our cabin and outdoor areas in time for our arrival for a romantic welcome. A Serene Relaxing Escape I love this place. From the moment you drive up to the gates you know this is going to be a special experience. Walking up to reception across the boardwalk and hearing the variety of birds singing in the trees, instantly made us both smile. Alan welcomed us in reception and was a great host and escorted us to the Wind Spirit pavilion on the golf buggy. Upon entry my jaw dropped as it was just beautiful, the decor and layout was stunning and so clean. The little touches, such as lit candles and the aromatherapy burner made me feel relaxed as soon as I walked through the door. Walking outside onto the balcony, I turned right and there was the infinity pool, which I could not wait to jump into. The day bed and loungers were singing out to be used. Alan and Andrew have thought of everything and throughout the whole stay it felt as though we were surrounded with luxury. The food platter and breakfast provisions were very generous and contained quality items. We both returned home feeling rejuvenated and much more relaxed and happier. What can I say - Amazing. The trip started off with a pleasant intercom greeting at the security gate. When the gate opened up it was a moment of 'This is heaven'. Walking to the reception through the lush surroundings is nothing short of 'top notch'. We were explained and shown everything from the free DVDs to the house-keeping requirements. We were escorted back to our car where we were taken on the golf-cart to our Vila. Well let me say that the short ride on the cart through the bush was so relaxing and tranquil. On arriving at our Vila we opened it to the pre-air conditioned temperature with lit candles and soothing music throughout. Alan showed us the complimentary breakfast which had been pre-placed in the fridge. The Vila was absolutely stunning. We stayed in the Wind Spirit, which had our own private infinity edge pool over looking the Hinter Valley. The view was nothing but 'post-card' worthy (but even then the pictures would not do it justice). We spent the following few days relaxing without any interruptions from the huddle-bustle of the city life. We felt like we were on a secluded island. I could go on and on praising this place and even this would be enough. I have recommended this place to everyone that I have spoken to since our stay. Idyllic We were in Wollombi to see our grand-daughters (and their parents) and booked into Whispering Forest at Wild Edge for 2 nights, based on the photos on their website. The photos don't do justice to the reality ... the place is faultless. Lovely manicured grounds in a haven of peace and tranquility. The pavilions are private, large, comfortable, elegant and beautifully appointed. They have a fully equipped kitchen and the fridge was filled with an incredibly varied selection of breakfast foods, enough to feed the most voracious of eaters. The bed is large and comfortable with great pillows. A large terrace with outdoor bed and bar-b-que runs the length of the pavilion and has panoramic views across the valley beow. - Never wanted to leave!!!! My girlfriend and I went away to celebrate her coming home from the UK. Very hard to describe just how amazing wild edge really is! You drive up the private road into the most beautiful spot in the hunter valley by far. On arrival Andrew welcomed us and we were very pleased to upgraded to the Earth Song pavilion, Andrew helped us with our luggage and showed us around the stunning pavilion. After driving for approx 2 kms on unsealed road we made it. Wild Edge retreat is a hidden gem where you feel relaxed as soon as you arrive. With only 4 private villas it is perfect for a couples getaway. Make sure you pack some food as you will not want to leave. We bought an esky with us with all the makings of a cheese platter and it was the perfect setting to sit on the deck and watch the sun set while sipping on wine and having a cheese platter. Such a majestical adventure up into the mountains of Wollombi, once we arrived we were privately chaffered to our pavilion...Earth Song. - Beautiful, Relaxing, The perfect getaway.... My husband and I recently stayed in the wind spirit pavilion which was amazing. The room was spotlessly clean, magnificent mountain views, We loved the 2 person spa bath with the bi-fold doors and The infinity pool was excellent with the day bed beside it, very private and relaxing. - Wild Edge Retreat is such a beautiful place to escape with your loved one!They offer personalised check in times, breakfast provisions (Vegetarian, Gluten Free and Halal breakfast options) and WiFi. You also have the option to purchase gourmet platters when booking your stay but we brought our own food and cooked it on the bbq.We were welcomed warmly and assisted by Emma, one of the owners with our bags on her golf cart which was extremely convenient! She is such a lovely lady and was very helpful.We stayed at our very own private pavilion ‘Wind Spirit’ where we spent most of our time outside on the deck, unwinding and relaxing in complete serenity.We also met the local Goanna named Go Go and a few beautiful birds visited us by the pool to cool down.The kitchen was equipped with everything! - Perfect place for a getaway weekend. My partner and I booked the earth song pavilion for 3 nights (14/2-17/2), as soon as we drove up the private road and arrived at the gate we knew it would be a peaceful weekend. After we walked in to reception and met Alan he helped us carry our bags to the pavilion and gave us a rundown on the kitchen, spa and DVD player. The pavilion was awesome well laid out, clean and you couldn't fault a thing. The view from the balcony and spa was amazing especially one morning when we noticed the fog over the mountains. - Absolutely Beautiful Oasis!! We have not a single compliant about this beautiful tranquil oasis in the hunter! If you like luxurious with a breathtaking view of the valley this retreat will tick that box! - Stunning paradise couples getaway! Highly recommend My partner and I spent 2 nights in the Natures Mist pavilion. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm reception from. With a buggy ride from the car park to the pavilion, once we stepped inside we were taken aback by the beautiful scent circulating the room. The music playing in the room was beautiful and relaxing. The views from the room were absolutely stunning! The spa bath has a perfect view of the treelike in the distance and makes for great viewing at sunset with some wine. We were blessed to some amazing warm weather and made good use of an ample size pool and wonderful day bed. The privacy was perfect and the whole weekend spent there was simply care free, and didn't need to leave the room once. I could describe in detail the welcoming by Andrew, the feeling of complete relaxation as we were escorted to our pavilion, the overwhelming joy as we entered Wind Spirit, that can only be described as paradise ( yes there were tears), and the feelings of complete peace and togetherness that we felt the whole time we were at Wild Edge. However, words are not enough to begin to describe the most perfect honeymoon/vacation/retreat, you really need to experience it yourself. I found Wild Edge Retreat for our Easter Stay and it was the most relaxing experience we could have hoped for. Hampers ordered (BBQ, Ploughmans & Cheese) gave us ample food as well as the included Breakfast Hamper. We loved every minute of being surrounded by nature in this lovely Pavilion.
