Fresh linens including sheets, towels and pool towels are provided for your stay. Our Guest linens & towels are professionally laundered after each stay.

Each Pavilion has a fully equipped kitchenette with a ceramic cooktop, microwave oven, full-size fridge, electric frypan, juicer, toaster and dishwasher.

Our log fires are stacked and ready for use from early May until the October long weekend. These times may vary depending on the weather.
Nespresso and Twinings
All Pavilions have a Nespresso Creatista automatic coffee machine with a supply of capsules. A selection of Twinings teas are also provided.

Privacy is paramount. Our Pavilions are spaced apart for seclusion, with screened pools/decks and no passing traffic, you can hear yourself think!

Wild Edge is just that. Emma and Mick are the perfect hosts and make it clear that they are here to help but not intrude on your getaway. Greeted with such warmth Emma took us to our pavilion and showed us what we needed to know. The ambiance was perfect the fire was lit, as was candles throughout, you instantly feel relaxed. The Breakfast provisions are just perfect, a great coffee machine, even oranges and a juicer if you so desire. A Dyson hairdryer which was pretty cool to test out! Immediately we felt like we could rest and relax and unwind. The view amazing the silence wonderful, perfect!!! honestly cannot fault it in anyway and recommend to anyone needing some serious quiet time - we didn't use the pool (this time) as cooler weather but we will come again. - Beyond expectations We stayed in the Wind Spirit pavilion for our 10th wedding anniversary. We have stayed in some nice places before however this was by far the best. We were welcomed and shown to our pavilion and everything was explained to us. Breakfast provisions are provided and the sausages were awesome!!! The New Zealand stone bathroom was amazing, the hydrotherapy spa with bifold windows was pure luxury, and the infinity pool with king size daybed was heaven. My husband was stoked with the Bose system....I was more excited about the rain shower. We felt very welcome and nothing was a problem. Both Alan and Andrew were fantastic hosts who obviously take pride in their job and retreat. The surrounds are immaculate and everything is so well maintained. We ordered the Love bites and Ploughmans lunch platters which were very generous serves and included local produce. Booking online was fast and efficient. I had a little query re laundry, sent a message via their website and promptly got a response via email. Apart from the confirmation email received upon booking, there is another email that was sent a week prior to our stay containing all pertinent information including driving instructions. A portion of the road leading up to the retreat location was unsealed. Thus, the drive up there was quite rough and uncomfortable. Nothing unexpected as this was clearly noted on the email. But upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Emma, we heard the chirping of the birds and saw how beautiful the place is, so we thought it was all worth it. Our pavilion (Earth Song) was well-stocked and is extremely clean. We were greeted with some lovely tealight candles, a sweet little birthday cake for my husband, a personalized welcome letter with a beautiful relaxing music on the background. The breakfast provisions were extremely generous (see photos) and we loved the little snacks provided as well that went perfectly with our coffee/tea. My personal favourite was the Citrus Press! I love my OJ freshly squeezed for me for breakfast! The picturesque view from the deck accompanied with the soft chirping of the birds was just the lovely break that we needed from our usual daily routine. We loved soaking ourselves in the warm pool and how we ended our day with a nice warm spa bath. Overall, I think it’s the little personal touches all throughout our stay that made this one particularly stood out from all the rest we’ve had before. From Emma personally greeting us when we arrived helping us with our stuff, the personalized letter, the little cake, setting the mood in the room (candles, music) for when we arrive, the little notes reminding us to just call when we need anything or extra provision, up to the recommendations on where to stop on the way back home! I cannot thank you enough Emma & Mick for helping me make this staycation a truly special and memorable one for my husband! We just cannot wait to be back! TIPS: - Albeit breakfast provisions were extremely generous, bring enough food & bev items that’ll last for the duration of your stay as there are no shops within walking distance to the retreat. The nearest grocery as per the pre-stay email is 35mins drive from there. - There is no laundry facility onsite so it’s helpful to bring a laundry bag for used clothes - No need to bring anything to fully enjoy the spa bath. I actually bought a lush bubble bar but apparently, I can’t use it there. - Utter bliss and best sleep ever What a treat - If you're looking for a premium stay in the hunter that will leave you wanting more, then this is the place for you. We stayed for one night only in Wispering Forest over the Easter break. Firstly it was great to find a place that tool bookings for 1 night only during Easter - that's actually how we found it, by filtering on Wot If. Not the cheapest place available in the hunter, but what a difference from all the other options. This place is no hotel. There are no communal areas, and you don't even have to share your view with anyone else! Uninterrupted bliss. When we arrived in the afternoon we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who have us a very nice introduction to Wild Edge and our Spa Pavillion. The balance was just right - enough information to enable us to enjoy our stay, without it being overpowering or intrusive in any way. Very friendly and personable. From then we were left to our own devices to enjoy the tranquility. The Pavillion was extremely well appointed - it looked like it had been recently renovated. The bed was so comfortable - best night's sleep we've had in ages! The breakfast provisions were excellent - everything we needed to set ourselves up for the day. The road leading up to Wild Edge is a dirt road, quite steep in places, although we were in a VW Golf with 2 bikes on the roof and had no problems whatsoever. - Worthy Of 6 Stars We had the pleasure of staying at Wild Edge Retreat for 5 nights last week to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. As return guests we knew what to expect from this fabulous property, but were very impressed with the little upgrades that Emma and Mick have made since taking over, which easily elevates this wonderful retreat from 5 stars to a very deserving 6! Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by Emma who helped us with our luggage and showed us to our pavilion, Earth Song. Wow, what a treat for the senses! Cosy fire, tea light and aromatherapy candles and soft music. The pavilion was immaculate and equipped with everything needed to self cater. We loved Earth Song with its lovely big balcony- perfect to capture the winter sun and glorious sunsets. The property is so peaceful, it becomes very easy to connect with nature. - Stunning paradise couples getaway! Highly recommend My partner and I spent 2 nights in the Natures Mist pavilion. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm reception from. With a buggy ride from the car park to the pavilion, once we stepped inside we were taken aback by the beautiful scent circulating the room. The music playing in the room was beautiful and relaxing. The views from the room were absolutely stunning! The spa bath has a perfect view of the treelike in the distance and makes for great viewing at sunset with some wine. We were blessed to some amazing warm weather and made good use of an ample size pool and wonderful day bed. The privacy was perfect and the whole weekend spent there was simply care free, and didn't need to leave the room once. This place is immaculate and trust me, I’m a princess and wear my Tiara with pride. Everything is provided for your stay. The owners are welcoming then leave you alone to do your own thing. We only saw one other couple once when they walked past as they were departing. The spa is huge, the king bed is comfy, the sheets are clean, the lounge is new and not saggy, everything in the kitchen is supplied that you would need. the balcony equipped with day-bed, BBQ and outdoor eating area were of huge proportion to accompany the amazing view. Bring your own food as the local town does not have much to offer AND you won’t want to leave Wild Edge anyway! I cannot recommend this place enough. The view is to die for. The privacy is total. Emma received us and showed us to our pavillion with the skills of Sabine Schmitz around the Nurburgring as she gracefully drove the three foot wide golf buggy along the elevated three foot two inch wide wooden walkway. This is not a place with a WOW factor. It is a place with a WOW factor around every corner. You must bring your own food as there is no local convenience. - Perfect Honeymoon I am not sure where to start with my review!! This place is simply amazing!! We booked online and when Emma contacted us by phone I asked a few questions and told her we were staying here for a little honeymoon! We arrived 2 days after our wedding and were greeted by Emma in the golf cart to collect our belongings to take us to our pavilion, The Wind Spirit!! First little personal detail I noticed was the "Just Married" sign on the back of the cart!! When we arrived at the pavilion, when we opened the door the aircon was on the room smelt amazing! We were greeted with a bottle of champagne and a personal note from Emma and Mick which I have kept for my wedding box and again some "Just married" signs in our room!! Our pavilion was incredibly clean! It had the feeling that we had been the first to stay there (which were obviously not) which in my opinion is the level of cleanliness you want! I had read the emails when we booked and all the info on the website and when I jumped online and read some reviews it is very clearly noted 1. The driveway can be rough! It was actually not as bad as I was expecting and noticed that it was better in some parts then the tar on the main roads! 2. Get your groceries on the way out because it is not a resort! We did drop into Cessnock on the way and grabbed some supplies, although we did go out almost everyday and have a look around but if you don't want to have to leave, it is very obvious to grab it on the way! We were on our way out one morning to go for a little drive and grab some breakfast when we ran into Mick he suggested a little cafe in Laguna!! It was perfect, thanks Mick!! The pavilion has everything you need and more! It has all top of the range appliances! We got the seafood platter and I cannot recommend it more! It was some of the best seafood I have ever had! It was so fresh! It was the perfect honeymoon waking up to the birds every morning! We stayed 4 nights, 5 days! The pool, the spa, the robes and the movies in bed! It couldn't have been better! - Absolute luxury and serenity My husband and I love to getaway often and we are always in search of secluded, luxury yet affordable retreats to fully unwind and recharge. Wild Edge didnt disappoint! We stayed at the wind spirit for three glorious nights. Emma was a lovely host and made sure we had everything we could possibly want..from a well stocked breakfast pamper and pantry to plenty of firewood and even a Dyson hair dryer! - The perfect place for a honeymoon retreat This place was more then amazing, it was perfect. After a stressful yet exhilarating wedding, we were ready for a few days away from people and phones. As we drove up from Sydney, it bucketed down rain and we thought of ditching the whole idea for something closer to warms shops and restaurants. Thank goodness we didn’t. We were greeted with spectacular warmth from the caretaker which, can I say, was one of the kindest, most generous people I’ve met. Not a thing was too much for him. The level of service was impeccable, from picking out dvds for us, to preparing the BBQ and cheese packs (which I highly recommend if you're planning to say), to surprising us with champagne and rose petals upon arrival. Even discussing our stay beforehand, he was happy to take all the preparations on board. A true asset for the retreat. Bring your own food, cheese and wine when you stay (unless you get the packs), as you won’t want to leave. The view, the pool, the bathrooms! All above the chain 5 star resorts by miles. We even splurged a little and took a helicopter tour to the wineries from the retreat’s own helipad. This was all organised through the onsite caretaker. He was just marvellous. - A Serene Relaxing Escape I love this place. From the moment you drive up to the gates you know this is going to be a special experience. Walking up to reception across the boardwalk and hearing the variety of birds singing in the trees, instantly made us both smile. Alan welcomed us in reception and was a great host and escorted us to the Wind Spirit pavilion on the golf buggy. Upon entry my jaw dropped as it was just beautiful, the decor and layout was stunning and so clean. The little touches, such as lit candles and the aromatherapy burner made me feel relaxed as soon as I walked through the door. Walking outside onto the balcony, I turned right and there was the infinity pool, which I could not wait to jump into. The day bed and loungers were singing out to be used. Alan and Andrew have thought of everything and throughout the whole stay it felt as though we were surrounded with luxury. The food platter and breakfast provisions were very generous and contained quality items. We both returned home feeling rejuvenated and much more relaxed and happier. Wild Edge is a truly wonderful and peaceful retreat
It's difficult to escape the hectic world but this place is serenity itself. The only noise that you will hear are the many birds and the view is untouched bush to the horizon. Having your own pool on the deck and all the other luxuries make it simply wonderful.

We stayed in Wind Spirit for the weekend, as a surprise for my husband's birthday. It was everything I'd hoped for and more! Our stay was decadent and relaxing!
