Each Pavilion has a fully equipped kitchenette with a ceramic cooktop, microwave oven, full-size fridge, electric frypan, juicer, toaster and dishwasher.
Log Fires (seasonal)
Our log fires are stacked and ready for use from early May until the October long weekend. These times may vary depending on the weather.
Nespresso and Twinings
All Pavilions have a Nespresso Creatista automatic coffee machine with a supply of capsules. A selection of Twinings teas are also provided.

Privacy is paramount. Our Pavilions are spaced apart for seclusion, with screened pools/decks and no passing traffic, you can hear yourself think!

Beautiful, Relaxing, The perfect getaway.... My husband and I recently stayed in the wind spirit pavilion which was amazing. The room was spotlessly clean, magnificent mountain views, We loved the 2 person spa bath with the bi-fold doors and The infinity pool was excellent with the day bed beside it, very private and relaxing. Our host Alan was lovely and couldn't be more accommodating we our every need. From the welcome and buggy transfer, the quick overview of all the facilities in our Pavlion, the outdoor sun deck and pool, the bose sound system, the cleanliness, etc. etc. I could not speak highly enough of the owners or the resort itself. We opted for some additional extras with the candle packes (for a special occasion), couples massage and helicopter tour to Hunter, which were all fantastic in their own way. However, just staying and relaxing at the resort is pure bliss in itself. It's quiet, peaceful and very romatic with the two person spa, outdoor pool and breathtaking views. The pictures of WIld Edge look amazing but none of them can capture how wonderful it is in reality. A truly magical weekend. We stayed in the Nature's Mist pavillion, which overlooked the beautiful valley. The pavillion was impeccably tidy and clean for a place in the middle of the trees. And the attention to detail was impressive. We found we brought things along that we didn't need (frypan, utensils, etc). Don't bother, they have it all covered. The breakfast provisions were scrumptious and it was no problem to ask for more if you need. It's clear the idea of this place is peace and quiet while being close to nature. Andrew (and Ruby) were very welcoming and helpful when we arrived and explained the features of the room. Beyond that, we had the space to ourselves and barely saw anyone in the whole retreat. Have looked at it for months and finally decided to book and was not disappointed.. We stayed in Wind Spirit with its own infinity pool and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. A large terrace with outdoor bed and bbq runs the length of the pavilion and has panoramic views across the valley. If you want a luxurious, romantic, peaceful, secluded getaway then this is the place for you! With only 4 Pavilions on site what more can you ask for. From our arrival to our departure - it was nothing but perfection. We had our own infinity pool which was fantastic great size, overlooking the valley. The views were magic I could not stop taking pictures. I could go on & on but I suggest you see it for yourself... We arrived off the main road up a dirt road wondering where we were going in the bush land to be greeted by a secluded paradise. Upon check in we were informed of the DVDs available to borrow and we were whisked away via golf cart to our home Earth Song. The doors were opened and my jaw dropped, the pavilion we stayed in was breathtaking, it was so cosy and warm feeling with lovely touches of candles lit and relaxing music. We were provided with a tour of the facilities and advised the BBQ dinner package would be brought over at 6pm. We also ordered a cheese platter, it was presented perfectly and lasted our entire stay. Every attention to detail was to first class presentation, with the towels having a branch from the garden, a complimentary bottle of local champagne, to warm crusty bread, balsamic and olive, and chocolates served with our BBQ platter. The breakfast provisions were more than substantial for our stay. The boys have thought of everything! The pavilion was immaculate with not one ounce of dust or dirt. We had a super relaxing time and enjoyed the peace, tranquility and luxury just soaking up the stunning views and sunsets. The bathroom was AMAZING with the sunken spa bath and large rainhead shower, we sat watching the sunset for hours. You have a fabulous business, and we can't wait to come back and try another pavilion, perhaps in the winter time to enjoy the fireplace! You won't want to leave when you get here!! - WOW Factor x Infinity A challenge to get here in a regular saloon car. The approach road is well rough in places. Once you are here IT IS WORTH IT! The Pavillion has all you need and more. The fact the sound system is Bose says it all. Whatever there is in and around the Pavillion is QUALITY - a Dyson hairdryer, Molton Brown bath amenities. The view is to die for. The privacy is total. Emma received us and showed us to our pavillion with the skills of Sabine Schmitz around the Nurburgring as she gracefully drove the three foot wide golf buggy along the elevated three foot two inch wide wooden walkway. This is not a place with a WOW factor. It is a place with a WOW factor around every corner. You must bring your own food as there is no local convenience. - Breathtaking and Beyond perfect Breathtaking and Beyond perfect Having read all the reviews of Wild Edge we had extremely high expectations. These were met and well exceeded. I could describe in detail the welcoming by Andrew, the feeling of complete relaxation as we were escorted to our pavilion, the overwhelming joy as we entered Wind Spirit, that can only be described as paradise ( yes there were tears), and the feelings of complete peace and togetherness that we felt the whole time we were at Wild Edge. However, words are not enough to begin to describe the most perfect honeymoon/vacation/retreat, you really need to experience it yourself. I am still overwhelmed as I recall our stay ,from the booking and arrangements, to the welcome, to the location, to the pristine condition of the pavilion, to the 6 star service, to the farewell by Alan. I had called an hour out from arrival just to ensure that all was in order for my beautiful wife and the serious romancing which was about to get underway. It was 8pm in the evening and after a slow, seriously dark and dirty trek up the mountain (albeit that this should be expected in the country), we arrived through the gates only to be happily greeted by Alan. Our luggage was loaded aboard a golf buggy and we were then driven a short distance to our luxurious pavilion . Upon entering said pavilion, we were warmly welcomed to the prearranged candles which spread throughout the entire clean, romantic and warmly designed apartment. The apartment itself ( we stayed in Natures Mist) sits high above a valley, looking down over some distant farm land and cattle. There wasn't a person, car, sound or anything else that could have possibly distracted us from our relaxing and harmonious stay. It was total bliss. The bed was a total delight. The pillows were perfect with sheets and a quilt to match... I did however forget to take note and/or ask for the brand and type of pillows! Rookie error for a newlywed I suppose. The attention to detail throughout the place was amazing. We didn't need anything else as the kitchen was fully contained with all utensils and cooking equipment that we required. There was a bbq on the deck which was perfect for us to cook our meats that we bought locally. My wife and I also managed (thanks to great weather) to cook the scrumptious breakfast provisions (that were provided to us daily) on the bbq. The sausages are a must! With respect to the grounds, the staff have done a wonderful job. The gardens are filled with native flowers and plants and are on show via the boardwalks throughout. We managed to catch several cute little wombats getting about along with some possums and amazing birds. The retreat is about 20 mins from the Wollombi Wines vineyard and about 25 from Stonehurst. We had the pleasure of visiting both and there were some cracking wines on offer. In terms of "to do", it is a retreat after all so definitely don't be expecting anything outrageous or on the wilder side of things otherwise be prepared to be disappointed. My advice would be to ensure that you go with great company! Overall, we would say that this place is definitely special. It's exactly what we could have wanted and more, and for the reasonable price tag, it far surpasses most if not all of the high end hotels you would find in a major city. We will be back for sure! My partner and I booked the earth song pavilion for 3 nights (14/2-17/2), as soon as we drove up the private road and arrived at the gate we knew it would be a peaceful weekend. After we walked in to reception and met Alan he helped us carry our bags to the pavilion and gave us a rundown on the kitchen, spa and DVD player. The pavilion was awesome well laid out, clean and you couldn't fault a thing. The view from the balcony and spa was amazing especially one morning when we noticed the fog over the mountains. - Our Honeymoon We picked Wild Edge for our Honeymoon location after googling couple retreats in NSW. After a 5am flight from Perth, picking up a hire car and driving up to the retreat we were drained. We were greeted by Alan the owner with a friendly smile. Kindly they upgraded us to Earth Song for our honeymoon and chauffeured us to our villa. He showed us the amenities and left us to relax. A gift of sparking and a kind card to congratulate us on our wedding was very kind. The villa is beyond 5 star, it was spotless and not a speck of dust or dirt. Linen was extremely good quality. The thick towels were great. Breakfast provisions lasted us the 3 days and Alan always offered more if we needed it. Mushrooms with butter, delicious! Views of the valley and the quite location made our stay very romantic. I only have good things to say about this place. The warm greeting, the cleanliness and presentation of the pavilion and the wonderful view from the balcony all add up to a great stay. Everything is thought of here. The breakfast provisions were excellent and we had packed food for lunches and dinners and prepared quite a few great meals and found that everything we needed for cooking was provided in the kitchen. I loved relaxing in the spa with the windows open and candles lit and the pool was warm, but not too hot- great way to spend a couple of warm afternoons floating around in privacy (especially because I am very pregnant!). We stayed in ‘Nature’s Mist’ on this occasion and have previously stayed in the other pool villa. Both are lovely, and had everything we needed for a great long weekend. Such a majestical adventure up into the mountains of Wollombi, once we arrived we were privately chaffered to our pavilion...Earth Song. We found ourselves sitting in the spa looking out to the amazing views whilst we sipped on a local champagne delivered by Emma herself! We had the most relaxing sleep, not to mention being woken up by the natural sunrise is something you don't experience everyday. - A weekend to remember We have just stayed in Nature's Mist for our Anniversary. It was everything we had hoped for and took full advantage of the peace, tranquility and magic view over the Wollombi valley below. As we have visited and stayed in the Wollombi area a few times before, we wanted to just chill out and make the most of the surroundings. We bought enough with us to be self sufficient for the weekend without a need to travel back down the hill. It was having our own private pool which attracted us to Wild Edge this time as we had been in the area in March previously and know how hot it can be. I just wish I had remembered my Bird book (maybe something that can be added to each pavilion) Andrew and Alan must be commended for the passion they have for their retreat and the presentation of our pavilion. The place was immaculate and had everything we needed. We took a quiet stroll around the grounds to find out which of the pavilions had the best perspective for the different times of year as we would like to go back in the colder months to make the most of the fire place. Wonderful place to stay

If you come expecting a typical style coastal resort, you will be disappointed. This is a private and secluded slice of heaven set in the Australian bush with all the amenities of a resort. Loved the privacy, swimming pool and time together in a wonderful place.

It is truly is an escape from the trappings of quotidian life!
This is an amazing and very special place set in the remoteness of the Australian bush but with all the luxury and conveniences of a five star resort. It does not have room service nor 5 star dining but this is not needed.

We were blown away by the quality of every little thing. From the tea selection, to all the utensils and products in the kitchen. The cutting knives were sharp! That never happens in rented accommodation. The bathroom fit-out is spectacular. Every was amazing and clearly thoughtfully considered.

I found Wild Edge Retreat for our Easter Stay and it was the most relaxing experience we could have hoped for. Hampers ordered (BBQ, Ploughmans & Cheese) gave us ample food as well as the included Breakfast Hamper. We loved every minute of being surrounded by nature in this lovely Pavilion.
