Our fire trail is clearly defined and covers just some of the Retreat’s 96 acres and is a gentle 30 to 60 minute walk.

Our car park is at the entrance to the Retreat and has two Tesla chargers and an outlet if you need to plug in your own!

Enjoy your bedtime with our custom made mattresses. Designed with AH Beard and made in Sydney, Australia, sleeping becomes an experience!

Our Foxtel System has 1,000 movies, including new releases, and 4,000+ TV episodes OnDemand. Casting from your personal device is also available.
Fresh Linens Supplied
Fresh linens including sheets, towels and pool towels are provided for your stay. Our Guest linens & towels are professionally laundered after each stay.
Kitchenette
Each Pavilion has a fully equipped kitchenette with a ceramic cooktop, microwave oven, full-size fridge, electric frypan, juicer, toaster and dishwasher.
Log Fires (seasonal)
Our log fires are stacked and ready for use from early May until the October long weekend. These times may vary depending on the weather.
Nespresso and Twinings
All Pavilions have a Nespresso Creatista automatic coffee machine with a supply of capsules. A selection of Twinings teas are also provided.

Privacy is paramount. Our Pavilions are spaced apart for seclusion, with screened pools/decks and no passing traffic, you can hear yourself think!

Spend time on your private deck with a king size Outdoor Daybed, dual sun lounges, dining table and a Weber Baby Q barbecue.

Each of our Pavilions has their own private Plunge Pool. Complete with deck screens, so no swimming costume required! Perfect for a skinny dip!

The cottage has almost everything you need for a great getaway only thing you need to bring is some food. When we first visited I read the website and didn’t really understand what was included so we did bring things that were already there like oil, coffee and bug spray. - Stunning paradise couples getaway! Highly recommend My partner and I spent 2 nights in the Natures Mist pavilion. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm reception from. With a buggy ride from the car park to the pavilion, once we stepped inside we were taken aback by the beautiful scent circulating the room. The music playing in the room was beautiful and relaxing. The views from the room were absolutely stunning! The spa bath has a perfect view of the treelike in the distance and makes for great viewing at sunset with some wine. We were blessed to some amazing warm weather and made good use of an ample size pool and wonderful day bed. The privacy was perfect and the whole weekend spent there was simply care free, and didn't need to leave the room once. - Totally romantic. I can not fault this place. From our arrival to our departure - it was nothing but perfection. We had a warm and inviting welcome from our host. We stayed in Whispering Forest and were greeted with contemporary surroundings. The kitchen had a great selection of teas; fresh breakfast daily (which was wonderful); the spa bath was amazing. We also added on to our package a full body massage, which I would highly recommend. Also a great selection of DVD's are on hire in the main reception area if you wish. - Sensational in every way! Stayed at Wild Edge Retreat over Easter and it was the most amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, every single element of our stay was 5 star. From the welcome and buggy transfer, the quick overview of all the facilities in our Pavlion, the outdoor sun deck and pool, the bose sound system, the cleanliness, etc. etc. I could not speak highly enough of the owners or the resort itself. We opted for some additional extras with the candle packes (for a special occasion), couples massage and helicopter tour to Hunter, which were all fantastic in their own way. However, just staying and relaxing at the resort is pure bliss in itself. It's quiet, peaceful and very romatic with the two person spa, outdoor pool and breathtaking views. The pictures of WIld Edge look amazing but none of them can capture how wonderful it is in reality. A truly magical weekend. - A Place to Call Home Thank you Alan for once again welcoming us to Wild Edge. It was a pleasure to celebrate my birthday at your unique, 6 star retreat and create the kind of lasting memories that will bring us back again and again. Upon entering our immaculately presented pavillion, Whispering Forest (and yes, the forest does actually whisper!) one word springs to mind - Faultless. The attention to detail is amazing and our very kind, respectful hosts ensured that our stay was perfect in every way. Things we loved.....the cosy wood fireplace, the soft music, the 2 person spa (sheer bliss), the spectacular floor to ceiling windows, the dreamy bed, the modern furnishings, the well equipped kitchen. We spent much of our time on the private deck, just taking in the glorious views and were in awe of the ever-changing landscape from sunrise to sunset. We were fascinated with the abundance of bird life and watched as they happily pruned the native shrubs by day and were treated to a spectacular display of stars in the sky at night. The Breakfast provisions are just perfect, a great coffee machine, even oranges and a juicer if you so desire. A Dyson hairdryer which was pretty cool to test out! - Living in a Cloud Recently stayed at Wild Edge Retreat. Natures Mist was aptly named. We woke in the morning and the mist from the valley below made you feel as though you were in a cloud. As day wore on the mist rose and you looked down to a beautiful valley. The view was devine. The pavillion was immaculate. Our every need was thought of. The privacy of the pavilions (including our own pool) is what everyone hopes for when you go for a get away just to enjoy each others company. The surroundings, like the pavilions are very well presented. The effort of keeping everything just right shows right throughout the whole retreat. 10 year wedding anniversary Firstly this place is beautiful, quiet and decorated really well. I dont really do reveiws often but always read them, however I've felt compelled to this time as I would have loved some warning myself. I can honestly say my husband and I have never felt more unwelcomed! When we arrived at reception our host immediatly started complaining about lack of water as they are on tank water, then moved onto difficult guests.When shown to our pavillion it got worse, each instruction on how to use or find things was followed by a story of what other guests had done leaving us with the impression that gests are the bain in there lives! Stories of people emptying and refilling the spa, turning the aircon on too low, lighting the fire in summer. On and on it went after just escaping three young children for the first time ever since having kids this was the last thing we needed! We managed to laugh it off however after he had left, unfortunately though the lack of tact continued the next afternoon. After going on a wine tour (Wollombi wine tours, recommend them) we return to find they had serviced the pavillion, something we were not expecting and perhaps a pleasant suprise untill we saw the letter on the table. Now I will admit we were smoking the night before somthing we do whilst trying to take ourselves back 9 years prior to kids, I had read on their website to put water in ash trays which we did do, we also lit citranella candels to ward off the mozzies. Our stay corresponded with a heat wave, so I do understand the bush fire concern as we live in amomgst the bush even more than the place is itself. The letter explaining this concern would have been fairly well recived by us except for the fact it contained the threat of penaties for arson, mentioning fines of up to $100,000 and years of imprisonment!! Really, happy 10 yrs to you both! Emma came to greet us and she is so friendly and welcoming and helped us with all our luggage and made our arrival feel very special.The wind spirit pavillion far exceeded our expectations and Emma had candles lit, the air con on, and nice soft music playing, it was all these little extras that were so appreciated by us. The pavillion was immaculately clean and everything we could have wanted was catered for, the pool was freshly vaccumed and the day bed very comphy. Breakfast was suuplied each day and topped up by Emma each afternoon with whatever we wanted and on the Saturday Emma even baked us some brownies, do yourself a favou and do not leave wild edge until youve tasted Emmas brownies, best ever !!!!. Best weekend of our lives!
We stayed in Wind Spirit for the weekend, as a surprise for my husband's birthday. It was everything I'd hoped for and more! Our stay was decadent and relaxing! I found Wild Edge Retreat for our Easter Stay and it was the most relaxing experience we could have hoped for. Hampers ordered (BBQ, Ploughmans & Cheese) gave us ample food as well as the included Breakfast Hamper. We loved every minute of being surrounded by nature in this lovely Pavilion.
