Fresh linens including sheets, towels and pool towels are provided for your stay. Our Guest linens & towels are professionally laundered after each stay.

Each Pavilion has a fully equipped kitchenette with a ceramic cooktop, microwave oven, full-size fridge, electric frypan, juicer, toaster and dishwasher.
Log Fires (seasonal)
Our log fires are stacked and ready for use from early May until the October long weekend. These times may vary depending on the weather.
Nespresso and Twinings
All Pavilions have a Nespresso Creatista automatic coffee machine with a supply of capsules. A selection of Twinings teas are also provided.

Privacy is paramount. Our Pavilions are spaced apart for seclusion, with screened pools/decks and no passing traffic, you can hear yourself think!

Each of our Pavilions has their own private Plunge Pool. Complete with deck screens, so no swimming costume required! Perfect for a skinny dip!

Can't wait to go back! This place is by far the best retreat I've ever been to. Quite, private and the room we stayed in was just beautiful. The guys have just taken over a few months back so they deserve all credit for turning it around - I've read some bad reviews from before. The new management knows how to run this place. My wife and I stayed here in the last week of Dec 2010 and it was amazing. We didn't take a lot of food with us so we had to go out to get it but next time we'll be prepared. You just don't feel like leaving the place. I've already recommended this place to so many of my friends.. One of friends is planning to take his girlfriend here in March - and proposing!!! - Exactly the Break We Needed Stayed in the Wind Spirit villa at Wild Edge Retreat for my girlfriend’s 30th, and it was exceptional from start to finish. Emma greeted us on arrival and was genuinely helpful throughout our stay. She surprised us with a complimentary birthday cake, which was a great touch. The villa is even better than the photos. The pool is completely private and has an unreal outlook, the bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, and the spa overlooking the mountains is something you could sit in for hours. Breakfast was fresh, generous, and far better than what most places offer. If anything, two nights wasn’t long enough — it’s the kind of place you settle into instantly and don’t want to leave. - Fantastic stay First stayed at wild edge 12 years ago, back again for our wedding anniversary and we were suitably impressed. The new owners have really enhanced an already great product and even the most discerning traveller would be hard pushed to find any faults. 25th Birthday Surprise I was treated to a beautiful weekend away for my 25th birthday. I was grinning from ear to ear the moment we reached the red entry gates. And it never stopped. - Romantic Getaway Two night at Natures Mist was the perfect getaway for romance and relaxation. A very warm and helpful greeting followed by a spotlessly clean villa with scented oils and soothing music. A lovely day bed to lay on and watch the day pass as well as a plunge pool. - Second to None Wind Song Pavillion, March 2013. Spotlessly clean, excellent service, romantic, and couldn't ask for more. If you want a romantic breakaway, this is the place to go. Plunge pool, candles, bose sound system, sunken bath with opening bi-folds and lovely views. The host Alan was great and couldn't be more accommodating. It is quite isolated and a dirt road into the property on the last 2.5km, only 4 pavillions, but if you plan it, there is nothing else you need. We even organised a helicopter through Slattery Charters to take us on a wine tasting hop - so didnt use the car the two/three days we were there. Preordered food, and took a few bits and pieces of our own. Went out by day, and stayed in by late afternoon/night to soak up the atmosphere. We even organised a tandem massage which was done in our pavillion. - Absolute luxury and serenity My husband and I love to getaway often and we are always in search of secluded, luxury yet affordable retreats to fully unwind and recharge. Wild Edge didnt disappoint! We stayed at the wind spirit for three glorious nights. Emma was a lovely host and made sure we had everything we could possibly want..from a well stocked breakfast pamper and pantry to plenty of firewood and even a Dyson hair dryer! - Pure luxury in spectacular surroundings If you are looking for a luxurious escape (close to Sydney) put Wild Edge on your list of things to do. The pavilions are beautiful (I have stayed in Nature's Mist & Wind Spirit), the owner Alan is a lovely man who goes the extra mile to make your stay special and I will definitely go back. There's too much to say and all good - we were greeted with warm smiles, given a brief yet informative tour and made to feel right at home, right away. The log fire burned for almost our entire stay and kept us warm well into the night. - TRANQUIL COUPLES ESCAPE RETREAT Wow needed to book a really peaceful getaway for my husband and I as he needed to decompress, I wanted something a bit different, quite peaceful, somewhere quiet, but with all the luxury amenities to. Wild Edge is just that. Emma and Mick are the perfect hosts and make it clear that they are here to help but not intrude on your getaway. Greeted with such warmth Emma took us to our pavilion and showed us what we needed to know. The ambiance was perfect the fire was lit, as was candles throughout, you instantly feel relaxed. The Breakfast provisions are just perfect, a great coffee machine, even oranges and a juicer if you so desire. A Dyson hairdryer which was pretty cool to test out! Immediately we felt like we could rest and relax and unwind. The view amazing the silence wonderful, perfect!!! honestly cannot fault it in anyway and recommend to anyone needing some serious quiet time - we didn't use the pool (this time) as cooler weather but we will come again. It is tucked away just past Wollombi if coming from Sydney. We were warmly greeted on arrival and driven to our accommodation by golf cart, we stayed in Wind Spirit. We were immediately excited by the setup, in particular a large bed in an open plan room, the spa bath with large fully opening windows, opening out on to your private balcony, and the private infinity pool and day bed. The kitchen was well stocked along with delicious breakfast supplies. Weather wise, were treated to drizzle, warm sunny weather, and a storm rolling in over the hills during our stay. We met the local wombat and went for a short walk around the complex. But mostly we relaxed! And it was so easy to do so. The lack of phone reception is a blessing, and the wifi was very reliable for when we really needed to connect to the real world again. We are well pleased with what paid and happy with the quality and quantity of food in the hampers that we received. All the food was very delicious. Service was excellent - our hostess was available to assist when we needed more items. The only noise around was the natural wild life - a very quite and tranquil place to relax and rejuvenate. The room was very clean and they also supplied a beach towel for swimming - which was a plus. We hope to go back next year for another holiday and try out one of the other pavilions. Getting there was easy and the road not sealed but perfect for our 4WD. Also liked the welcome we received both from the hostess and through their Foxtel channel which had a lovely welcome and enjoy our stay. Our hostess was there to welcome us as parked. Booking online was fast and efficient. I had a little query re laundry, sent a message via their website and promptly got a response via email. Apart from the confirmation email received upon booking, there is another email that was sent a week prior to our stay containing all pertinent information including driving instructions. A portion of the road leading up to the retreat location was unsealed. Thus, the drive up there was quite rough and uncomfortable. Nothing unexpected as this was clearly noted on the email. But upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Emma, we heard the chirping of the birds and saw how beautiful the place is, so we thought it was all worth it. Our pavilion (Earth Song) was well-stocked and is extremely clean. We were greeted with some lovely tealight candles, a sweet little birthday cake for my husband, a personalized welcome letter with a beautiful relaxing music on the background. The breakfast provisions were extremely generous (see photos) and we loved the little snacks provided as well that went perfectly with our coffee/tea. My personal favourite was the Citrus Press! I love my OJ freshly squeezed for me for breakfast! The picturesque view from the deck accompanied with the soft chirping of the birds was just the lovely break that we needed from our usual daily routine. We loved soaking ourselves in the warm pool and how we ended our day with a nice warm spa bath. Overall, I think it’s the little personal touches all throughout our stay that made this one particularly stood out from all the rest we’ve had before. From Emma personally greeting us when we arrived helping us with our stuff, the personalized letter, the little cake, setting the mood in the room (candles, music) for when we arrive, the little notes reminding us to just call when we need anything or extra provision, up to the recommendations on where to stop on the way back home! I cannot thank you enough Emma & Mick for helping me make this staycation a truly special and memorable one for my husband! We just cannot wait to be back! TIPS: - Albeit breakfast provisions were extremely generous, bring enough food & bev items that’ll last for the duration of your stay as there are no shops within walking distance to the retreat. The nearest grocery as per the pre-stay email is 35mins drive from there. - There is no laundry facility onsite so it’s helpful to bring a laundry bag for used clothes - No need to bring anything to fully enjoy the spa bath. I actually bought a lush bubble bar but apparently, I can’t use it there. This is probably the most impeccably appointed accommodation we have ever stayed in. The hosts have thought of every detail you will require for a self contained, romantic & secluded mini break. We had an indoor spa that had bifolds on to the deck, which would be fabulous in winter too with the wood fire, but since we had lovely hot weather we made the most of the heated plunge pool and amazing balinese style day bed. Breakfast provisions are supplied like eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes to cook yourselves as well as cereals, bread & yoghurt etc. The hosts respect your privacy and only attend to you if you request them to. The mobile signal is patchy so they provide free wifi and there is a landline for calls. The bed & pillows were comfortable and beach towels provided. We had an amazing three nights at the idyllic Wild Edge Retreat. You are a part of nature in your totally self-sufficient Pavilion that is so well equipped, right down to the best bed we have ever slept in. The pool and outdoor shower in Whispering Forest were superb. All is topped off by the warmest welcome and personable nature of Emma and Mick who cater for your every care. This is an amazing and very special place set in the remoteness of the Australian bush but with all the luxury and conveniences of a five star resort. It does not have room service nor 5 star dining but this is not needed.
